Work. Travel. Make Friends.
All at the Same Time!

Chicago Group Travel organizes communities of like minded individuals (ages 25 - 39), mostly from Chicago, to take international trips. Travelers continue to work their jobs during the day while maximizing evenings and weekends by exploring new country.

How it Works:

Pick a Travel Program & Apply

Everyone on our trips is between ages 25 and 39 and mostly reside in Chicago. Meaning you won’t be traveling alone but with a crew of Chicagoans around your age.

Chat With Us to Ensure a Mutual Fit

Our staff will set up a call with you to discuss the program and ensure it is a mutual fit. We also conduct a background check on each applicant for piece of mind.

Meet Your Community

We will have a group meetup before leaving for our adventure, allowing you to get to know your fellow travelers.

Stay In a Hotel by the Beach & Have Separate Workspace

We provide a private hotel room in an international hotel chain (ex. Hilton, Marriott) near the beach. We also provide a separate workspace where you will work with your fellow travelers!

We Plan Your Evenings After Work

We plan out the program so you will get to know the local culture and get the most out of your experience! We also set up group dinners, activities, and sighseeing.

We Plan Optional Weekend Adventures

We organize optional weekend trips from the home base to explore other parts of the country!

Reunions After the Trip

Most of your travel group calls Chicago home so you'll have optional events, after you come home, to reunite with your group!

How it Works
An Average Workday

On an average workday, most of us do about 4.5 hours of productive work. When we are working remotely, most of us end up filling the other time with mundane activities that promote little to no personal growth.

Our team brings together a community that maximizes their day by exploring the world, having new experiences, and forging new friendships.

Productive Work

4.5 Hours

On average, Americans do about 4.5 hours of productive work in a day. We provide a dedicated workspace (with high speed internet) walking distance from your apartment so you can get more done in even less time!

Eating

1 Hour

Instead of eating in front of a TV, eat with fellow travelers and plan your next adventure.

Non-Productive Work

3.5 Hours

Use the time you usually spend scrolling through Insta, to learn from fellow travelers, discovering a new culture, or exploring the city making your own insta-moments.

Household Activities

1.5 Hour

You'll have regular housekeeping in your hotel room so you can spend more time doing things you love!

Leisure/Exercise

4 Hours

#MaximizeYourFiveToNine with group activities, exploring the city, creating new memories or having a picnic on the beach!

Sleep & Personal Care

9.5 Hour

We choose the best apartments, with private rooms and comfortable bedding, to make sure travelers get the much-needed rest after a day of adventures!

Testimonials

I would highly recommend going on a trip with Chicago Group Travel if you want to explore a new country, make awesome friends, and get out of your comfort zone without having to do any of the planning yourself this trip is for you.

I enjoy traveling but never seem to be able to plan a great trip or pick a safe place to rest and they took care of everything. The accommodations, safe working space, occasional activities and was the most reasonably priced trip I’ve taken. The assurance to be able to work and then enjoy the activities in the off-hours. Meeting new people pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it was worth it.

This was my first group travel trip and I wasn’t too sure what to expect. However, I was extremely pleased with our group – everyone got along wonderfully, and the new friendships added to the overall experience. Without stepping out of my comfort zone, I would have missed out on amazing experiences and great new friends.
